IMPACT was first conceived in the spring of 2025 due to the growing demand for opportunities to participart in Christian forensics programs like CCA , and entered compitition in the fall of 2026.

David and Catherine Furlough met in CCA competing from the ages of 8 and 14, respectively. Since graduating they have been Coaching, Judging, and helping the league any way they can.
